The Chom Chom was love at first try. I have 4 cats and cat hair is a huge problem. Even though I vacuum regularly, it's the bedding, blankets, throw pillows, and furniture that I have a hard time with and that is where it gets all over my clothes. I hoist the vacuum up to do the upholstery but a vacuum doesn't work on throw pillows and blankets/bedding. And hoisting the vacuum up is laborious and difficult and I'm not going to get the vacuum out to do just that. I have a hand-held cordless vacuum but that doesn't do any good on the furniture etc. Even when I vacuum the furniture it still leaves finite hairs.So the Chom Chom was the missing piece to my fur containment puzzle, and now I have the secret weapon needed to finally battle the fur and win! Plus, the Chom Chom is just fun to use. I do agree with one reviewer that the release button is easily accidentally triggered but I just have to be mindful to not press that spot and it's fine. It's easy to use, doesn't snag fibers (there's nothing on it that would snag), it's so easy to remove the fur from the chamber!The first time I used it I was literally gasping in amazement at how easy and effective it is. And I bought this, I wasn't gifted it for a review. I did a bunch of research out of desperation, bought 4 different tools (one of them was a scraper kind of tool which totally snags fibers and ruins fabric, the Chom Chom is not like that).I saw cheaper versions of the Chom Chom with very few reviews, but I chose the Chom Chom and I'm glad I did.Also, it's great on clothing so this may replace my sticky tape rollers (which are effective, but I go through the papers quickly and it's hard to peel sometimes).Give the Chom Chom a try, you won't regret it.

This pet hair roller is the best I’ve used, seems well made too. My cat has really fine short hair, and this picks the hair up off the chair cushions, pet bed and bed comforter really well. If you have a goofy cat like mine, you can use it directly on your cat if you want, mine actually likes it lol. The only thing I don’t like it the lint chamber door release button is right where I like to place my thumb, and it pops open, but it’s definitely not a big deal, just have to remember to adjust my grip.

Terrier mix and Sharpei owner here. Both dogs shed and there’s the eternal struggle of how to moderate the hair shedding. The stairs were in need of a deep clean and I used both this product and a Furminator broom on every step. Between the Chom and the broom, Pic 1 is what had been living in the stair carpet for who knows how long!
Pic 2 is the stairs after the final step, the vacuum. Pic 3 shows a full vacuum container, a good 1/3 of that being from the Chom and broom. I had to really put my arm into it but so worth it. My only complaint about the Chom Chom is the placement of the button to open it. Maybe it’s just my grip but I hit the button a lot and it pops open while I’m cleaning. Still worth the purchase.

Do you end up as furry as your pet because they sit on the furniture or blankets? Then you NEED this roller! Works amazing, picked up about 97% of the hair. Blanket picture shows a before and after, I had already cleaned the bottom part. 4 stars because it works really well, but did not get quite all the hair and the release bottom gets hit easily when using it. Also a bit difficult to get all the hair out of the catch area, but still highly recommended!
